Deadlines... You gotta love them.
The pressure is getting worse, and there is loads of stuff to be done for our game. But we are getting there. The new math lessons are really helping in solving some hard 3d problems, especially with angular calculations.

Viewport Test
I had to write an asteroid game. But since I'm working on a big assignment, there was no way I could finish it in time. Instead I took the basic elements of the assignment and wrote a test to see how multiple viewports and infinite rotation around the X-axis works with a 3D person camera. The result:

Supreme Defense
Today I started working on a new project. It's a game based on the popular Tower Defense game-type.
I'm doing the project for my final school group assignment. It's an other programmer and me, and 2 artists. The entire game will be in 3d and have RTS like tech levels.
At this moment, the basic engine and game editor is completed and we are working towards a alpha build. This build can be used by our artists / gameplay developers to start tweaking gameplay, models, textures etc.
As soon as there is anything worth publishing, I'll upload a video.
BTW, the idea is to get this game running on XBox Live...

Kees Invaders
A friend of mine made a remark about his own space invaders clone (his name is Kees).
I started working on this one evening, just for the fun of it. You serieusly don't want to look at the code, it's horrible. But it works. So here's are preview of the upcoming blockbuster Kees Invaders:

Tetris Finished
I finished my Tetris project.
All graphics were made in MSpaint (yay!).
My teacher gave me a 9/10, so that's not a bad result at all.
I got extra points for the music / highscore and code neatness.
Here's a video of the result:

Tetris
I'm currently working on a Tetris clone for XNA.
This is a project for my programming class.
It's more about the code then the game itself,
but the following video should give you a good idea of what I'm working on:

Another try...
Hi there again,
Yet another try at blogging. I know I'm not that good at it, but what the hack.
A lot of people asked me to share my current projects. It's sometimes hard to
explain programming and games without any visual backup. Hence the blog.
Have fun, and I'm really really going to keep it up to date.
Just don't expect miracles (like an update every day)
